Who we are
Lanka Lions Cricket Club ("Lanka Lions"), as the name infers, primarily promotes the sport of Cricket. Lanka Lions was registered in Singapore on 5th October 2006 by a group of Singaporeans and expatriates of Sri Lankan origin who came together to form a new sports club. Membership of Lanka Lions is open to all Singapore residents and all are welcome! 

What we do
Lanka Lions participates in the Singapore Cricket Association domestic cricket league. As our membership base expands priority is given to ensuring that a highly competitive side participates in the League. In addition Lanka Lions is developing an active social cricket team so that as many of our members as possible can actively participate in sport. While continuing to develop the cricket teams, a stated medium term goal is, as club resources permit, to encourage participation in other sports.

Our Strong Cricketing Links
Lanka Lions have developed strong ties with both leading Sri Lankan international cricket stars as well as younger first class cricketers from Sri Lanka. The stars are established internationally recognised sporting personalities. The younger cricketers all demonstrate potential as international stars of the future. These ties will help both improve the standard of cricket amongst our members and raise the standard of league cricket played in Singapore.

In Support Of Singapore Cricket
Lanka Lions is a particiapting member club of the Singapore Cricket Association and are proud supporters of development of cricket in Singapore. We would like to see Singapore compete in a future cricket world cup and strive to contribute towards that goal.
